an organ donor can save up to 8 lives. 1 pint of blood was used to keep my moms body temp up while they matched her organs to recipients. Technically 1 pint of blood could save up to 8 lives.

That’s because in the us there’s a stigma against donating blood or plasma. People seem to think only homeless or addicts donate to get the money from it

You should come out to Boulder, CO to visit CU Boulder! We have a live bison (buffalo) mascot who runs at our home football games! She doesn’t live on campus, but she’s a beloved icon ❤️Also, I love donating blood! I’ve done it many times! 😊

My husband needed blood when he was battling Cancer. although he ultimately lost the battle he was able to have a boost of energy that helped him cope better and I am eternally grateful for that.❤️🙏

My son wanted to donate blood at 10 years old. He wasn’t allowed at that age. As soon as he turned 16, and was able to (with parent permission), he started donating blood at every single school blood drive! He, now as an adult, donates EVERY SINGLE blood drive he can! So proud of him! (He’s almost 20!)
