@otoide_a: 🇨🇦🇪🇺 Could your Canadian visa soon give you access to Europe? Canada has been invited to become the EU's first associate member, but no new Schengen visa privileges have been announced. For Nigerian passport holders, a Canadian visa does not currently replace a Schengen visa. But your Canadian visa already has some useful travel benefits: 🇲🇽 MEXICO: You can visit without applying for a separate Mexican visa if you hold a valid Canadian visa and meet the entry requirements. ✈️ SCHENGEN AIRPORT TRANSIT: A valid Canadian visa can exempt you from certain airport transit visa requirements, provided you remain in the international transit area and meet the applicable conditions. Important: Visa-free entry, visa on arrival and eVisa eligibility are three different things. Having a Canadian visa does not automatically qualify you for all three.
