As an independent owner operator with over 30 yrs exp. we will never see a truck strike in this country youngman. 1. we dont have enough unity 2. MEGA CARRIERS can sustain enough of the demand that the country will keep moving maybe slower but realistically it will move and 3. very few of US can afford to park even with the price of fuel. we gave geard this strike talk for 25 years and I have yet to see one. One set of drivers in a single state cant do NOTHING. REALISTICALLY we have no one person that can pull us together as a unit. The drivers that would THINK of parking still have families to feed etc. And here is the bottom line if you all care to THINK REALISTICALLY. 3 DAYS WITHOUT TRUCKS would do absolutely nothing but put the rail road in go mode. it would take 10 days minimum to effect our economy .....yall stop being emotional and get financially empowered.

I will go to work on October 1 and I will drive to pick up my load and then I will drive to the next biggest city that is heading towards my load receiver and then I will park at the Cinemark theater and watch movies for three days straight in a row !
