@hertraline: [ETA: the victim reunited with the correct leg was Airman 1st Class LaKesha Levy. She was only 21. I meant to name her in the video and forgot, my apologies.] Original caption: 9/11 largely replaced the Oklahoma City b0mbing in the national consciousness so I think it’s important not to let this new development get buried just because it coincided with the 25th anniversary #september11 #september112001 #remember #neverforget #oklahoma
This is a lot, but one thing we know for sure is the government is lying

All the undocumented people who were working that day.. I can’t imagine the families that couldn’t get any of the benefits or support.. or find/ claim their family members.

the OKC bombing happened as a result of what happened at Waco. I think it's crazy you didn't learn about it if you grew up in TX

I have lived in Oklahoma almost my whole life and I have never heard of the unidentified leg (not that I can remember at least). But I have heard that there were more people involved than just the 2.

Even if the leg does not belong to a co-conspirator, shouldn’t the government want to know or help solve whose leg that is?

I read that the leg belongs to a white male but was buried with a black female. So either the damage was so severe they couldn’t tell that it was a completely different race or they were just burying body parts with anyone.

The actual slap in the face it would be as a victims family to learn, that my family member was buried with a piece of their murderers body… horrific

That bombing changed my entire life. I was 6mos old, my dad’s fire station was the second station to respond. He had only been on for about a year. He did search and rescue until it was done and didn’t even come home, they would take turns sleeping and searching at the scene, and he was never the same. The dad my older siblings knew was someone I only ever heard about in the past tense. There was a marked before and after. However, I do know I am extremely lucky because I didn’t lose anyone, and my heart breaks for the victims and their families. The museum is so well done and so eye opening and heart wrenching, it’s something I think anyone who visits here should see.

This comment section saddens me as a member of the Oklahoma City Bombing Teen Board, I truly belive more people should be educated on the attack and other information of the situation. I really wish more people knew of this attack because it was and is the biggest domestic territorst attack and barely anyone is educated on it. Even people who live in Oklahoma themselves. Thank you for speaking about this, the attack needs much more publicity!

New York flew in Oklahoma chaplains and first responders to help the families and first responder survivors since we had just been through this on a smaller scale but very much similar

I’m trying to figure out how they figure out who a body part belongs to. Did they get DNA samples from the victims family members to compare to the remains?

I remember being 12 years old, home sick from school, and seeing the breaking news on the tv about this happening. I remember seeing the firemen carrying out the dead babies. It was my very first memory of a tragic American Event. 9/11 was my second 😭
