First time mom who also breastfeeds, if you pump and then feed him after you get home it will actually help build your supply and I promise! The trigger in your brain is different latching your baby then feeding and baby boy gets more suction than you would think vs the pumping. No need to worry mama🫶🏽

one of the best pieces of advise that helped me successfully breatfeed my last baby was about supply and demand. even if you feel empty latch that baby on. the more they latch the more it signals your body to produce. I would feed and then pump and then feed again. at night id feed off 1 side and pump the other. it helped me build a small stash for when I went back to work

I’ve breastfed for 3.5 years cumulatively. Personally in this situation, I would pump one side to replenish the freezer milk that was given while I was away and save the other side to nurse baby upon return
