@bdtalkingsports1: The NCAA has acknowledged that proper instant-replay protocol was not followed during the controversial finish to Michigan’s 13-12 win over Western Michigan. The FBS Oversight Committee said Wednesday that replay officials improperly handled the timing review before Michigan was awarded one final second. “Had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different,” the committee said. Despite acknowledging the procedural error, the NCAA says it cannot overturn the result because its rules make a game final once the referee declares it over. Michigan’s 13-12 victory will officially stand. Via CBS Sports. #NFL #CollegeFootball
