Karen wasn’t boring she was ambitious and driven and too sophisticated for him. She would have pushed him and competed with him and he didn’t want. Pam was a secretary who ultimately left art school for the relationship.

the tuna era was so satisfying. the writers and actors did such a good job of conveying energies. the jello stapler and call of duty moments, the tuna joke, so perfect. he was so out of his element in a normal office.

I feel like you could make a fair argument for every major character being a villain though. I don’t think the point of the show is to have a “villain”. They’re just people doing their best, using their own coping strategies.

If anything, Michael is definitely a villain too. He is not autistic coded imo. We see how skilled he is at navigating complex social interactions when its time to sell. He was just dumb and wouldve been less lonely if he wasnt also sexually harassing employees left and right and being racist 💀
