I think unfortunately she and Conner just didn’t have the fanbases, they both had controversy about being cast for ridiculous reasons like they both weren’t famous (despite both being on reality shows just like several others), and their pros don’t have their own fanbases yet. It sucks. Week one elims are the worst. Every pair deserves the chance to take feedback and apply it at least one time. They haven’t done a week one elim since 2023. They didn’t do one last year, 2024, 2023, or 2021. I’d rather have had a smaller cast to avoid this or just a double or triple elimination the following week.

Its literally all about fan base. Everyone on the west coast votes purely off of who they like cause we can’t watch it live so we can’t vote on dances just on who we like
