I have been trucking for 39 years now and we have threatened for years but it needs to happen to get the oil companies and the Democrat governors open their eyes and see who is in control of this country it is the trucks that rule

I think all trucks should just shut down for 4 days. Crash the economy and wake up the people in the white house to realize who runs this country without us.This economy crashes

Chevron alone made 13 billion in profits in the first QTR of 2026 . And that’s just Chevron . Not including BP, Sunoco, Texaco , and others who made almost the same . Chevron pays about 7 dollars as a dividend for ( 1 ) share of stock annual. . Chevron paid out 12.8 billion to its share holders in 2025 . The share holders are more important to them then the average Citizen. Same as any other large corporation. Like Home Depot Lowes Dollar general . They value the stock holders more

As a former local driver, these strikes generally pertain to the over the road drivers. The problem is not all drivers unite during this, but I backed the truckers 100% even though I would suffer as well as the rest of the public because truckers are truly the ones that make the world go round but the first ones to get shit on Covid prove that point. But are highly underpaid and disrespected as Covid proved truckers military medical workers. An emergency workers are what truly runs this world and are all fields that are highly underpaid your athletes, your musicians your movie stars don’t mean shit to this world they’re just entertainment and highly overpaid for what they do...

I was an owner/operator during the Obama years. There was always a surcharge on the fuel.
Higher fuel cost was paid by the shipper.

There are like 2 million trucks that run across the U.S. 50,000 isn't going to be effective. It's only about 2.5% of all trucks.
