Used to balance beat via PLAY & PAUSE if you hold both buttons simultaneously and release slowly, its all about timing, same as balancing a car in a steep hill, I did mixes back then through this method and recorded to another tape deck, take the master cassette and duplicate it on empty TDK’s and sell mixes to Tarvens and Taxi rank, I managed to save and buy myself Technics SL Turntables back in 1996 which costed me R599 each, it was a lot that time 🤣🤣😂😂
