And instead of pulling six different spices out of the cabinet, the chicken gets a generous coating of Dust & Bloom Farmstead Favorite before it hits the cast iron. 🤎 It gives you that deep savory base that works so well against the sweetness of the apples and maple. APPLE BALSAMIC CHICKEN 6 chicken thighs 1–2 tbsp Dust & Bloom Farmstead Favorite 1 crisp apple, sliced 1 large shallot 2 garlic cloves fresh sage ⅓ cup chicken broth ¼ cup balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp Dijon butter for cooking + finishing Season and sear the chicken until golden. Remove, then caramelize the apples and shallots in the same skillet. Add garlic and sage. Pour in the broth, balsamic, maple and Dijon, return the chicken and let everything simmer together until the chicken is cooked through and that sauce turns glossy, sticky and delicious.
