The restaurant did the right thing. Good customer service is important for earning loyalty but abuse will lead to stricter policies and is a lose/lose for everyone. It’s on par with vandalism. Don’t destroy shit for the hell of it since it costs everyone something (money, convenience or freedom) and everyone loses
