This is why we rope drop and leave by 2pm!!! When we do go for fireworks, we go back at 8pm and just walk to the TTC after. Faster and a nice walk!!

I worked for a band that plays at Epcot every year. But I’m almost never in the parks in the evening because Im usually on stage during fireworks, and we leave Epcot through the backstage. I was able to bring my parents last year and we had to go back to Magic Kingdom to ride Pirates because it had been shut down way earlier in the day. I felt like such a huge idiot. Not only was it a fucking nightmare to get over to pirates because fireworks had started, but getting out of there was crazy. I’ve been to Disney World five times and had never experienced that and I will never put myself through that ever again.

I get if you’ve been in the park all day and you have kids, staying longer is not an option… but after the fireworks is THE best time to go on all the rides.

Those in the know leave either right before fireworks or you plan to stay until at least 1-2 hours after fireworks
