@devonthenatureguy: I was running short of breath and getting very sweaty, so I stopped. But here's more! So, other things: you may have heard before that males fight with their tusks, yeah? No, though. They're super sensitive! Can you imagine? They do have lots of (over a dozen) tusking behaviors though. They'll stick them up out of the water to compare to each other or display to other females, they'll use them to play with each other, goof around with fish that they may or may not end up eating-lots of goofy little things! What else? Oh! I forgot to say! The tusk doesn't just stick out of their mouth like, well, if you were walking around with a paper towel tube up in there—it grows THROUGH THE UPPER LIP. I also completely forgot to mention their scientific name (I think). Monodon monoceros, which literally means "one tooth, one horn".
