I have much more trust in the local legal system than the Supreme Court. I believe the Supreme Court has turned that court into a political court, and not what it was intended to be.

I would argue that when it comes to the Supreme Court. in some cases the law or even the constitution doesn't matter. they seem to start with the outcome they want and work backwards from there.

Right now, our only saving grace with SCOTUS is Roberts' feeble attempts to preserve the Court's historically vaunted reputation. If he ever stops worrying about public opinion, the guardrails are coming off.
