Most of us want to optimize everything at once. But that might be exactly what's slowing us down. In this conversation, Chris Williamson breaks down why spreading your focus across too many habits at the same time may actually be working against you. He uses the gym as an example. Go all in for six months, and you can make a tremendous amount of progress. Take that same effort, cut it in half, and stretch it over a year — and the results don't always add up the same way. As Chris explains, there's something about funneling all of your attention onto one thing and truly locking in for a sustained period of time. A condensed phase of focused effort, even if it looks excessive from the outside, can produce results that a diluted, longer effort simply can't replicate. More habits doesn't always mean more progress. Sometimes it means less. It's not for everyone, but counterintuitively, for some, it's a more manageable approach. Tune into the full conversation, out now on all major streaming platforms. ▶️ youtube.com/@The.Living.Room.Podcast #TheLIVINGRoomPodcast
