This is from the Naudet Brothers documentary and it’s extraordinary. The only ones to capture the first plane hitting the building and to be inside with the fire chiefs when the building collapsed. They also captured the last images of a lot of firefighters before they went up the stairs. Definitely worth watching! It’s on YouTube, search Naudet brothers 9/11 and you will find it.

It was Lieutenant Kevin Pfeifer and his men of Engine 33 who saved the lives of Captain Dennis Tardio, his men of Engine 7, and many other units by redirecting them to the next set of stairs on the 9th floor

Every single clip I have seen of firefighters and first responders from that day shows just how much these men and women cared for one another, and it is truly beautiful to see. Look at how both teammates watch him, and at the slightest sign of struggle, they both immediately run to aid him at the same time. The sense of camaraderie and care they showed for one another that day is incredibly moving.
