✨This is my Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies recipe! These cookies are the perfect match for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This trend is seriously too good, a warm, chewy cookie with vanilla ice cream on top is such a delicious and easy combination. You have to try it!✨ Ingredients • 225 g unsalted butter • 200 g brown sugar • 100 g granulated sugar • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract • 1 ½ tablespoons heavy cream • 270 g all-purpose flour • 70 g old-fashioned rolled oats • ½ teaspoon baking soda • ½ teaspoon salt • 100–120 g walnuts, roughly chopped • 200 g chocolate chips (120 g semi-sweet + 80 g 60% dark chocolate) Instructions 1. Brown the butter over medium heat until golden brown and nutty-smelling. Remove from the heat and let it cool until warm, but not hot. 2. Add the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. 3. Add the egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. 5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until no streaks of flour remain. 6. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Do not overmix. 7. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30–45 minutes. 8. Divide the dough into 80–90 g portions and roll into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving enough space between each cookie. 9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9–11 minutes. 10. At around 8–9 minutes, carefully open the oven and gently tap the baking sheet against the oven rack to help the cookies spread and become thinner. 11. Remove from the oven when the edges are lightly golden but the centers still look soft. 12. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them. #chocolatechip #cookies #icecream #oatmealcookies #CapCut
