@tmdteephlowbackup: Shilo, born David Amankwah, is a Ghanaian hip-hop and hiplife musician known particularly for his Ga-language rap. He developed an interest in music while attending Accra Academy, where he initially performed hip-hop in English. Around 2000, after completing school, he began pursuing music professionally. He later worked with sound engineer Jay Q (Jeff Quaye), who encouraged him to shift toward hiplife and incorporate the Ga language into his music. His collaborations with artistes including Dr. Poh, Castro and Skrewface helped establish his name in Ghana's hiplife scene. One of his notable projects was Gege Style, while he also became associated with the group Cash Face, alongside Castro and Skrewface. The group released material including Soo Far So Good.
