Well played. You made the right choice. Do not be manipulated by tenders and make the right choice for your business.

Eish I had to decline a tender after they awarded me the tender, after getting the appointment letter we went to the site, only to find out that I under quoted my self, mind you we didn't go to the site for briefing before we sent our bid.

You should have hired me to work 24 hours if all resources were available but needed manpower. Was gonna fly same day the way I need cash injection for my business idea.

I wish more Service providers exercised their power…Great decision making there..poor planning from the Client can cost you more than your reputation. The Client doesn’t think of the extra Admin costs and running around you will have to do to ensure you deliver according to their timeline. Then you have to wait for payment ….

Doesn’t this affect your record someway with that company either way when you decline?Because they give you terms when you bid that you should be aware of,or did they want within their delivery period that’s on the bid document?

Another strategy is to have a delivery partnership in place for handling bigger orders when they come.
