@marcinteodoru: Stop paying insane money for the “best” AI model just because it topped some benchmark. For 99% of what most people actually do, cheaper models are already more than good enough.

Its never worth using cheap models. A cheap model thats trained on garbage reddit data will give you bad advice and send you off on the wrong path and can waste so much time and money. A bad model also goes round in circles on stupid bugs it cant solve and end up spending more anyway. Its rarely about horsepower. For 99% of people its about having a smart model

I use Claude code for 20$ and I get everything done. cause I also use sonnet. no need for opus or Faible. except for start of a new Projekt to write the plan. further use skills like ponytail and write an efficient Claude. md
