it's better to use a travel credit card on the app instead of cash. Yes, there's a fee but travel cards earn 2-3% in points. They also provide better exchange rates than what you can get at Ha Tam

I made the mistake and not bringing enough cash to exchange, and even though I put travel notices on my credit cards, they still blocked them. So I have to go to a bank in the morning to exchange some more cash to vnd. I will never use credit cards again when I travel, only cash.
