The third year of my daughter's degree was at Seoul National University. I flew out with her August 2024 and helped her settle in to her goshiwon. She spent 10 months in Korea and I missed her everyday. We text and called every day. This past June I flew out to help her pack up and come home. Last week, I drove her 348 miles to uni for her fourth and final year. I got 8 weeks with my baby girl again. While she was in Korea, I gave her my credit card. It has an untouched £4k limit. If she ever felt she had made the wrong choice, ever felt unsafe, she was to use that card to book a flight home. No need to ask. Letting them fly is incredibly important, but also keeping the coop door open at all times is just as important. The world is a tough place right now ❤️
