@big.blue.sea: Watch till the end!!! 🤯 This is the most viewed video I’ve ever filmed, taken back in 2023! A barracuda hunting a broomtail wrasse that was resting on the sand behind a rock. You can literally hear the crunch as the barracuda tears into it, see the scales flying through the water, the tail fall away, and then the head drops to the bottom. At the very end, the barracuda turns around and comes back for the head. And to answer two questions I got a lot the last time I posted this: No, I did NOT blur the wrasse’s head. What you’re seeing is the blood coming from the fish during the attack. And yes, that’s a buoy/rope line in the background. This was filmed in a designated swimming area along the Red Sea, so the line marks the swimming zone. Have you ever witnessed a fish hunting while diving? Let me know in the comments!
