Being a man in the UK who never took to football growing up is a pain few will understand or resonate with. I tried to play it, tried to get good but I just lacked confidence and felt under pressure which caused me to quit it entirely. Don’t follow it much. Not bragging, because this is actually a huge flaw. You don’t fit into conversations and you feel out of place. Fucking sucks

Bro I literally teared up watching this. To be honest, I’ve yearned to just be ‘part of the boys’ but never found my feet with anyone. Always a second option. I feel that’s why this is my job now. Yeah, i always felt like an outsider, the aloof one, these days I much prefer solitude, there is so much peace there - not having to pretend to be someone else around people. Lad culture is actually pretty cringe 😬

Wouldn’t really say I have friends to be fair a couple of lads I served with can have a chat but other than that don’t really have anyone and I’ve always felt like I’ve bounced between friend groups but never fully felt a part of them since school. But I try to get involved with some car meets and bits and started a new hobby in bohurt so will see where that goes in meeting new people

I have a problem with dealing with emotions when sth isnt working like i planned in my head, I know its off topic but can you please help me find a solution for this? whenever i think about some sort of a plan or scenario for any situation and someone is not doing what i thought in my head i suddenly change a mood and i cant overcome it, i dont know how can i change it but i desperatly need it to change, it takes control over me. your videos helped me with some other problems so i thought maybe you would have an answer for this problem too, please and thank you

I thought I was one of the lads years ago I was young immature and naive the lads I was always with we was as close as brothers and when I told them I’m stepping away to get my life back on track they laughed and the last time I went out with them I told them I won’t be coming out anymore and you know what my phone hasn’t rang or never received a text from any of them that was around 12 years ago!! I see them when I pop into town etc and they all say the same thing which is oh ok drop you a text you got the same number haven’t you and I say yes and still nothing that showed me a lot you can never rely on another person you can only rely on yourself do what you want to do. If I would’ve stayed with them I’d either be in prison right now like some of them or il be dead because the life we was living was so wrong in so many ways but it became the norm for me

30yo, and no matter how tough everything else got, I always had a sport that would give me a consistent group of mates I'd see once a week, and now someone I used to consider a close friend has cut me out of that safety net and is too much of a coward to admit it. Not sure where or how I go from here.
