@westmidsafari: Born back in June, the endangered red panda cub has now had her first health check - and we can officially reveal she’s a little girl! 🥰 She’s healthy, growing fast, and becoming more curious by the day! Keepers have also given her a very special name… ✨ Meet OMARI! ✨ Chosen by the Keepers, Omari means ‘light’ in Nepalese - and we think it’s perfect for this cheeky little cub who has already brightened up everyone’s days! 🧡🐾 Mum Mei Lin has been doing a brilliant job, and soon Omari will be venturing further out of the nest box to explore her habitat with Mum and Dad. 🌿 Red pandas are Endangered, so every cub is incredibly special. We’re proud to support the Red Panda Network and their conservation work in Nepal. 🌏 🌿 Visiting this weekend? Our Conservation Station will be open 19th & 20th September, 11am-2pm, for International Red Panda Day!
