If they’re hanging like that ; that usually means you fucked it’s bracket up or mauled the threads to hold it down

there are a few places on a vehicle where it makes sense to use metal ties... high heat and high stress, c.v. boots. for most applications, I've found that black zip ties last forever, even under the hood. I even use them around the house. now, white zip ties will break down where heat and sunlight are involved. I will use white ones inside the house, especially in the basement.
