@the.baby.whisperer: Why does your baby vomit? 👶💙 ⠀ Babies with regurgitation or vomiting often experience one or both of these underlying issues: ⠀ 🔹 A palate misalignment affecting the suction tunnel 🍼 ⠀ 🔹 A C1 (atlas) misalignment, disrupting the Vagus and Glossopharyngeal nerves, which control the latching, swallowing, gagging and vomiting reflexes. ⠀ The way a baby is born directly impacts both. Birth trauma (forceps, vacuum, prolonged or rapid labour, emergency or planned c-section) can lead to imbalances affecting feeding.
