There was a really good TV Drama in the late 1980s and 1990s set in Oxford called Morse, it was a 2 hour long show that was about a police detective inspector called Morse. His role was to solve murders. It was really good. Not sure if it would be a bit dated now, but it was really intellectual back then. Used to show all the sights of Oxford. There then was a spin off series, which showed Morse as a newly qualified police detective inspector back ,the 1960s. It can now be found on the ITV X app free of charge. Each episode is long, but each time it’s a case of trying to solve the murder, like a who done it. Lots of famous British actors had roles in it in different episodes.

You should go to Orkney islands, probably around 700 miles from Oxford but you will love it there, completely different to rest of UK car ferry takes around 50 minutes, the views are breathtaking 😊
