The difference between them is that the one our mothers ( beads ) use is not for lifestyle but the one the ladies use ( anklet) is for lifestyle. With the beads it’s mostly for ceremonial purposes while the anklet is not for that so please I don’t agree with what you are saying . There is not wrong with the anklet but the history behind it is what makes our mothers and society see it as bad. Thank you
