A simple Google search on if you have to or not it is a lie that you have to roll your window all the way down! GOOGLE: NO, there is no specific state law that forces you to roll your car window all the way down during a traffic stop.The bottom line is that you only need to roll it down enough to talk, hear the officer, and hand over your license and registration.
