In the darkest days of her illness, the one food she would always eat was chocolate chip muffins. At first in a muffin shop seeing them would drag me down. Now instead, I order one and once in a while bake some!

As a cashier in a busy place I sometimes see men who have the exact body frame as my son, 6'2", 175 pounds. They dress the same, same glasses, same ball cap or beanie and it just takes my breath away. 😔

I moved back to Massachusetts and my husband and I would always take the bus..so my first day standing at the bus stop by myself was very difficult. I turned around and went home and had a damn good cry. Most recently, My daughter collects stamps like her daddy, so I found his stamp collection and held the bag and just cried.
