Operation weight on that skid steer is like 7k so 4 straps is totally legal but for piece of mind in an accident, chains all day lol

I would rather have chains and binders, might hold normally but in a crash or panic stop no thanks

I have a 4 ton mini Excavator just dot. I went out and bought all new chains. Binders and they told me my ratchet straps were fine as long as the weight rating what is appropriate for the straps? Tri stripes are so much easier than the goddamn chains.

I use them also and I use 4 3” straps rated at 6,000 each.

As long as you have the weight covered and you don't have any abrasive points that could cut it. I have special straps that I use for hauling all of my equipment.

search YouTube for chain response to load spikes. Straps outperform chains in accidents on large loads. Highway thru hell show shows how great straps are. Never seen them have to cut a chain but 1 that didnt fail.

It’s 100% legal they have all four corners tied down. The rating of those straps are more than the weight so they’re good to go.
