@rtenews: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has said he ‘welcomes the ambition’ of the proposal for Canada to become the European Union’s first ‘associate member’. Mr Carney told the European Parliament in Strasbourg that the EU and Canada hold common values and ‘were stronger together’.
