Seeing the donkey's pitiful condition thrown in the dust, the old man is deeply moved. He stops and says tenderly: "Poor donkey, it looks very bad, but I only have this little bit of water and this little bit of grass for my livestock. But I won't leave it like that." Without hesitation, the old man takes the bucket and throws the water over the donkey's body to cool it down under the sun, and then feeds it the little grass it had for its animals. In that moment of selfless love, the miracle happens. The donkey stands up with renewed strength and Jesus restores His majestic figure before the astonished old man. The Master looks at him with infinite mercy and says: "My son, you have shown compassion to a simple animal. Today, I bless you for your great heart." Immediately, Jesus raises His hand and from it emanates a radiant glow of heavenly light that heads toward the empty basin. Suddenly, the basin is miraculously filled with bundles of dollars.
