@channelnewsasia: This family’s monthly power bill fell by around 90% after going solar. But those savings came with changes to their daily routine. They shifted their cooking — including prep for dinner — to between 10am and 2pm, homeowner Allan Vedaña says, because that’s when their solar panels produce the most energy during the day. The family spent around 550,000 pesos (US$8,986) on the system, and Allan estimates an upgrade could cost another 200,000 pesos (US$3,259). Despite the cost, he says going solar was “absolutely worth it”. Watch the full Money Mind episode. #cnainsider #solar #electricity #philippines

Babes, if you are on grid and your monthly bill does not exceed 15,000 pesos I don't recommend it unless it's an extra money.
