@metpoliceuk: Phone snatcher caught in under 30 seconds! This phone thief snatched a phone in front of an unmarked police car, 30 seconds later it was over after we used tactical contact to stop him in his tracks, arrest him and return the phone to the victim. A search of his home uncovered more stolen phones we were able to return to their owners. Phone theft is down 50% in the West End. Neighbourhood crime is already down 14% in the last 12 months to July. That's more than 33,000 fewer offences across London. #phonetheft #london #karma #crime #metropolitanpolice
