@shimmerfolkstudios: Mica’s report: Linda took me to a glass museum and gave me one very clear instruction: “Do not touch anything.” I did not touch anything. I merely climbed inside the display case in my plaid pajamas and conducted a close-range inspection with a magnifying glass. Those are entirely different activities. At eight inches tall, a cabinet of antique glass becomes a city made of color and light. Pink lamps rise like buildings. Blue and white vessels become towers. Every shelf holds another glittering neighborhood to investigate. Then I noticed the reflections. There was one Mica behind me, another beside me, and at least one more apparently attempting to evade Linda’s supervision. She insists they were optical reflections. I prefer to think the museum provided me with a complete research department. That raised hand on the other side of the glass means she was about to explain the touching rule again. For the record, nothing broke. Probably. 😂 Sometimes traveling together changes the way you see a place. Sometimes it produces four tiny men in matching pajamas.
