@travelbugbyamy23: Travel Inspiration Thursday! Today, we feature Vietnam, a country of breathtaking contrasts and unforgettable experiences. Ancient and modern history beg to be told, all with the constant hum of motorbikes and horn honking in the background. Learning to cross the road is an experience of itself! The street food is unparalleled, with steaming bowls of pho, fragrant spring rolls and the jolt of caffeine from a Vietnamese coffee. There are so many places to visit in Vietnam, and we hardly scratched the surface with our visit to Ho Chi Minh City (or Saigon) and Hanoi. We were able to get a taste of the modern and ancient, and the cities are vastly different from each other. From exploring temples and buildings of historical significance to taking to the water for tours of the Mekong River and HaLong Bay, there is something for everyone and is definitely on my list to return for further exploration.
