Same exact thing happened to me but it was parental support that saved me. 18 stones, depressed, unemployed, bedrotting. My parents took me to Umrah, I got a retail job when I returned, I lost the weight and dropped to 11 stones, ended up getting a NHS job with LAS, got my drivers license, paid my parents back for Umrah. I’m healthier, mentally and physically, earning, able to contribute. It’s best feeling ever.

When Surah Ad Duha came to the prophet pbuh, it was during a time when he too believed that Allah had forgotten and abandoned him which is why the surah begins with “by the morning and by the night that follows (o Muhammad) your lord has not abandoned you” if you’re ever feeling distant from Allah then listen to surah ad duha and read the translation, study the surah and it will move you to tears

Omg the same happened to me multiple times- legit prayed to god that I don’t want to ever beg anyone and he helped me out financially so much which made me realise we don’t need to depend on humans when God can do so much more without embarrassing you
