I think his main goal may be to put pressure on the prosecution to not do another trial and offer a plea. I think a good chunk will be about how hard this was on him and both sides of the family, how sick Lindsey was/is and how doing this a second time would cause a hardship on the family.

Fuck me, the guy can’t win. First of all they all demand answers from him to explain where he was what he was doing and why he was doing it. Now that he’s gonna talk, they’re all fucking attacking him again for fuck’s sake. Patrick was an amazing husband. Patrick was an amazing father. That woman showed no signs of psychosis at all in the medical record right up to the moment where she took those beautiful children down to the basement wrapped exercise bands around their neck and squeezed the life out of them. There are four victims in this case. The three beautiful children and Patrick.

Before the trial started, I remember saying to my co worker if anything Patrick is guilty of being stupid and really not picking up on how bad things actually were by the time he did it was already a really bad situation. Either he genuinely didnt understand or he just kind of brushed it aside thinking "what'd the worst that will happen.. she will need to go to a facility" I just find it odd that Rachel is in this interview, Im sure she wants to support Patrick but she could do that off camera because at the end of the day she wasnt there, she didnt know the children, she didnt know their marriage and she didnt know her medical history first hand, she knows what she has been told and again that is very normal it happens in all relationships if you've left partners etc. I just feel this isnt going to help the situation it could make it worse.
