@thesunnahguy: It’s strange how quickly a blessing can stop feeling like a blessing when you see somebody with more. You can genuinely be happy with your home... Until you see someone with a bigger one. Happy with your income... Until you find out what somebody else earns. Grateful for your marriage... Until you start comparing it to the highlights of somebody else’s. Nothing in your life actually changed. Your home is still your home. Your spouse is still the same person you used to love before. Your family is still around you. Allah’s blessings are still there. The only thing that changed was where you started looking. And I think social media has made this incredibly difficult. Every day we’re exposed to people who appear richer, happier, more successful and further ahead. If you’re not careful, you can spend so much time looking at what Allah gave everybody else that you completely stop seeing what He gave you. There will always be someone with more. More money. A bigger house. A better car. More opportunities. If your gratitude depends on having more than everybody around you, you’ll never have enough. Sometimes you don’t need another blessing to become happier. You just need to properly appreciate the ones you already have. Stop looking sideways long enough to realise how much Allah has already placed in front of you.

It’s hard when you don’t have all that n you are late 50’’s not married no family no frirnds n still try to remain positive. Allah had blessed me in other ways sometimes it’s hard to remain constantly positive
