Its really bugging me about people making this song about mtf when its ftm. I feel like its taking away transmasc and transman representation. Ive noticed a common thing i hear is “transman music is terrible!” So to have a good song representing us just for people to switch it and take away that representation, it hurts. As a trans man myself i know its about the trans experience but its specifically about trans men and transmascs, not trans women . I dont see many good trans man songs but i see countless amazing songs on being mtf. I just feel like we should have this song as its one of the very few ones we have.

Silent respost, I cant let my friends + family know. but ive told all of my friends im a demi-girl because thats what I used to go by. but recently for the past year or two ive slowly realized I might be Trans, ive always stayed closeted because at that time I didnt trust anyone enough to tell them besides a few friends at school. one of those people are Trans now and I feel deep inside of my heart if I start transitioning now they will think im.copying them and hate me, im already struggling and now adding body dismorphia shits getting hard. im thinking of waiting a few years to say it but then its going to be so much harder to say it out loud because I've denied it to them in the past and now, and I dont even think ill make it the few more years to even tell them.
