I took my girl on a trip last year to this air bnb cabin. Great time. Noticed night 2 the drain wasn’t working right. Had my tools in my truck. Wasn’t sure if we did it or not. Pulled and cleaned a few parts. Issue resolved. Texted host. She was so appreciative she dropped off some homemade cookies the next day. 10/10 experience.

we were in Ireland and noticed the toilet was leaking. we called the host and she apologized (!!) there was a second toilet in that house, so no issue at all. two days later the toilet was repaired. so far that was the only interaction I had over air BNB... I was so shocked how nitpicking some hosts can be...

I always immediately tell an AirBnB host if something has gone wrong or broken while I'm there - I don't want to accrue any costs I DIDN'T do and I assume hosts would be appreciative of honesty upfront

a few months ago me my dad and my brother was at an air bnb and accsidently broke a ladder, we tried to fix it as best we could, the host said "yeah it was probobly time to build a new one, it has broken before dont think about it" if anyone wanted a nice air bnb story

now.. I have a 3yr old with autism. I stayed in a airbnb with him and 4 other adults for 2 weeks. nothing was broken. why do people not treat things like that!

I used to do cabin cleaning, we had a guest steal all of the bedding, a mattress and a couch😃 the man we were cleaning for got a text message saying ‘ you fucking liberal’😭 mind you our boss never talked about politics, and no one knew his political standpoint
