@drkemidoll: Black women are being asked to fight for our livelihoods while also fighting to feel well enough to do it. That is the hidden crisis of the Black womb. When womb suffering is underdiagnosed and undertreated, it does not stay confined to our periods. It affects how we work, how we think, how much energy we have, and how much capacity we have to keep showing up. We need to be well enough to fight for our lives. I go deeper into this in A Terrible Strength: The Hidden Crisis of the Black Womb and Your Survival Guide to Healing. Head to my bio to grab your copy.
