This is the official video sent in Xmas day, Long Friday and Easter Sunday. Why these days? It is prohibited broadcasting commercial ads on these days. A new commercial has coming each XMas. It is not just for recruiting new soldiers, but to awaking the viking spirit of the whole population - prepare for total war. It Julius Caesar saying: «If you want peace - prepare for war». It started about ten years ago. Now it is the Total Defense by the whole population. The motto: «For all what we are». This ad was one of the first iterations, and actually won an award of best commercials in Europe that year. And yes we have the military draft, but since new year we have the civil security act - a civil draft. Do you live in Norway? Are you between 18 and 72? Regardless if you are Norwegian, American or even Russian - you can be drafted to civil duties to replace soldiers in a time of crisis or war. If you refuse, jailtime for a long time. So this series of ads is to awaken the viking spirit. And the next steps is to introduce survival skills into the schools and even into kindergartens. Finland, Sweden and Denmark is thinking the same.
