Yup! I helped a child who was FALLING OFF THE STRUCTURE because his mom was too busy on her phone to even notice. It’s a huge problem!

yes!! we were recently at a hotel and these parents let 2 of their kids that were no older then 5-7 go back to their room alone from the pool. Then they eventually went to the room and left their daughter who was maybe 10 at the pool by herself. I was mortified!!

My toddler got pushed twice by a 5/6 yo. I told the child to keep their hands to themselves. The mom was facing the complete opposite direction and told me “not to correct her child again.” Several minutes later, after the daughter had to tell her mom what happened. These are the children that run off or get taken. maybe I’m a helicopter parent but these people wouldn’t have a clue for several minutes if their child goes missing & that’s horrifying.

The other day I took my 5 month old swimming and these women show up with 8 kids they let the smaller ones go into the kid pool with clothes and shoes on?? The kids says “ I go potty In the pool” so I get up and take my daughter to the adult pool.. I hear the women say “who’s watching ___” insert kids names and they say “there’s a lady over there” me being the only other adult their I see them look over to see me no longer over there and they go “wow can’t believe she wouldn’t watch them” mind you STRANGERS did not ask me to watch their kids I would’ve said no bc my priority is my baby

This reminded of the non-verbal little boy that recently this week ran off from a playground after his grandparent was supposed to be watching him. Unfortunately they found him in a nearby pond this morning 😔 watch these babies like a mf hawk, ppl

I watched a kid hang from a bar and fall directly on his head. He got up and he was acting fine but I cannot find his mother anywhere or like an adult that took him to the park anywhere. And at the park there’s also like baseball fields and soccer fields and football field so maybe the parents are watching their other kid do a sport. I was like freaking out because this kid was still like rough housing and I know if you fall and your adrenaline is pumping you may not realize that you are hurt. I finally found the Mom and I had let her know what happened because as a parent if that happened to my child we are going home we are watching for any signs of a concussion and still make an appointment with the doctor. I cannot stress enough this kid fell directly on the top of his head and luckily our park is like the spongy ground. But when I told his mom he was mad at me for inserting myself in what happened.
