@galactic.insights6: Tiling the plane: It's a math problem with no algorithm to predict the outcome. Mind-bending stuff! #rogerpenrose #BigBang #Cosmology #ScienceExplained #Physics #Universe #GreatestMystery
He is saying that dynamic systems and nature are not governed by a geometrical code. Which until now is kind of true because no one has came forward with an equation that proves it. But this also does not mean it doent exist. [Big LOL]

James Davies :
Whoever is asking Penrose the questions here clearly doesn’t understand the points made. They are not good questions totally tangential to the discussion.

The theorem says given any tile,you cannot determine in advance whether or not it can cover the space using any algorithm. Not whether or you can actually do it, it's a subtle difference.

Supposedly there is a divide and conquer algorithm, background algorithm and minimal energy algorithms that can do it. Ai will never love you and that we can agree on.

Peterson is not correctly differentiating between a heuristic and an algorithm. What training an AI gives you is a good, but ultimately fallible black box, while Penrose is (correctly) claiming that no general algorithm exists.
