@nbcconnecticut: A new food pantry in West Hartford is working to make healthy food more accessible — without communication barriers.   Hartford Deaf Kitchen is now open on the American School for the Deaf campus, offering free, nutritious groceries to the Greater Hartford Deaf community in an American Sign Language-rich environment.   The pantry is the first expansion of Rochester Deaf Kitchen outside of New York, with a mission to address food insecurity while creating a space designed specifically with the Deaf community in mind.   #Accessibility #DeafKitchen #ASL
