in the Catholic school we cross our hands like a bowl and eat when received, and then bow to the cross before walking away- I've only been to a mass 2 times

wasn't the very first communion eaten reclining on low couches? is it not a spiritual meal? if a person could not stand but chose to crawl to receive the bread of life should that not be honored? but mostly does christ care so much about the ceremonious way in which you receive the host, or does he care more about what you do with your life with the life of Christ in it? the body of Christ is food
